We have successfully become unemployed (it’s much harder than you’d think!) and are in the process of getting rid of every last thing that won’t fit on the boat and getting the boat ready for every last thing we wish to keep.
The idea of taking a break and having some fun hasn’t really crossed our mind. But luckily we have some amazing friends who insisted on it last night!!!
John and Melanie Benedetti hosted a really fun BBQ to wish us bon voyage. SO much of John’s incredible wine and heaping plates of delicious meats off the grill, and somehow all my most favorite side dishes and desserts appeared as guests arrived. It was just perfect!! Nice to see so many old friends and even meet a few new ones.
I guess we really have to leave now… 🙂
